[Book Review] Glittering Promises by Lisa T. Bergren

Glittering Promises

Lisa T. Bergren

My Rating: 4 out of 5 Stars

My Review:

The final installment of the Grand Tour series is a mix of emotions. Cora has grown closer to her siblings throughout the trip yet her heart is confused as to who to love. Torn between Will and Pierre, Cora tries to settle things between the two.

Unexpected events cause Cora to become the inheritor of great wealth – and also the spotlight of several journalists who have started to follow her. Meanwhile, Will struggles with the reality of who Cora is.

As Cora hides from the journalists, she must come to grips with who she is and the One that created her.

There were times when I felt like this book went in circles in regards to Cora and her relationships. Pierre was so controlling and beyond annoying. Other than that, I thought this book was a great conclusion to an entertaining series that I enjoyed immensely. I was sad to say goodbye to these characters but they have left me with fond memories. I look forward to reading Lisa Bergren’s other series.

I received a free ecopy of this book from the publisher, David C Cook, through NetGalley in exchange for my honest review. I received no compensation for this review, nor was I required to write a positive review. All opinions stated are my own.
